STEAM Retreats

Expressive Path's STEAM Retreats (field trips) provide schools and nonprofit organizations with immersive, hands-on learning experiences that combine arts education, science, technology, engineering, and mathematics with leadership development and character building. Designed for groups of up to 30 students, each retreat includes a career exploration component and two hands-on arts experiences that expose participants to creative industries, educational pathways, and future career opportunities.

Funded by the NEAG Foundation, Expressive Path's STEAM & Themes program integrates STEAM learning with character development, helping students build confidence, resilience, communication skills, and leadership abilities. Through interactive workshops, collaborative projects, and discussions with teaching artists and professionals, students strengthen critical thinking and problem-solving skills while exploring their interests and enjoying light refreshments with their peers.

With the addition of our new Creative Arts Xpress mobile arts vehicle, Expressive Path is expanding access to these experiences by bringing STEAM programming directly to underserved schools, nonprofit organizations, and communities. Through ongoing partnerships and funder support, Expressive Path is committed to providing transformative educational opportunities that inspire students to explore their potential, develop leadership skills, and prepare for future success.
