These scholarships were developed in honor of our Founder's parents, who both loved music. Frank Martin played the trumpet in the U.S. Army and in concert bands. Jane loved to sing and dance. The Martin household was always filled with music and art.

How to win: Provide a video essay—be creative and have fun! Create a thoughtful video, no longer than three minutes, about why the arts are important and why you want to pursue a career in the arts. If you are in the top four selected applicants, you will win this mini scholarship!
Requirements
At the time of the application, you must be a current college student or high school senior already accepted to a college or trade school and a Montgomery County resident. By the application deadline, you must be 17 and no older than 24. The information form, enclosed, is to be emailed with your video to Ms. Nicole Asay at Nicoleasay@expressivepath.org

Scholarship Selection Criteria
You must have been accepted or have applied to a US accredited college, university or trade school. You may also be a current part- or full-time student of a college, university or trade school. You should be engaged in the creative arts for your major or minor track.
In addition to the video application, you will be selected based upon appraisal and justification for the award, academic aptitude and performance, vocational promise, character, educational plan, potential for development and leadership capacity as well as financial need.
Students may apply yearly (January through April); however, you may only be awarded a scholarship 2 times.
Expressive Path will present the monetary award to your academic institution in accordance with our eligibility requirements.
Expressive Path offers several intern spots a year in the areas of marketing, events, and fundraising. Our interns gain valuable experience while helping with social media platforms and other aspects of the organization. Each intern receives a scholarship at the end of their semester.
