Expressive Path’s Annual Spring Fling, themed "Carnival," will be a lively family event featuring live music, art, and entertainment to benefit disadvantaged teens. Taking place from 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm, the event includes performances by The Super Naturals and the Norristown Area High School Drumline, a costume contest, juggling contest, student performances, live art, auctions, raffles, and more. Guests can enjoy a delicious dinner, desserts, and vegetarian options, with all food, drinks, and activities included in the ticket price.
Expressive Path is a nonprofit dedicated to providing creative arts and music workshops for underserved teens ages 12-19, offering opportunities for artistic expression, education, and community engagement. Proceeds from the Spring Fling directly support students by funding programs, performances, and scholarships in the arts.
Brianna Arroyo is a 16-year-old sophomore at Norristown Area High School. She is a dedicated member of the select choir and gospel choir and also shares her talent by singing at church.
Since seventh grade, Brianna has been actively involved with Expressive Path, participating in various opportunities such as performances, field trips, and summer camp. She is also a member of the track and field team, competing in shot put, javelin, and discus. In middle school, Brianna was a member of the National Junior Honor Society, and she plans to apply for the National Honor Society in her junior year.
Eddie Baldwin is a wrestling athlete, musician, and future entrepreneur. His goal is to inspire others while building a successful future for himself. Eddie attends Expressive Path Community Creators, After School Program, and summer camp. After high school, he plans to continue working at the job he has held for the past two years, aiming for a promotion to management. He intends to start his own business. Eddie is well liked in his community. and is known in Norristown as
"Eddie the Talented."
Sarai, 18, is a talented musician and performer who has been part of Expressive Path Community Creators and our camp for the past four years. A graduating senior at Norristown Area High School and an Expressive Path alumna, Sarai is committed to Immaculata University, where she plans to pursue music therapy. She has been singing since she was eight and has performed with us since her freshman year. In addition to singing, Sarai plays the saxophone and is an active member of her school’s jazz band and marching band, led by director Vicki Blum, who also directs the drumline.
The SuperNaturals features Josh Drennan a long time volunteer of Expressive Path. The SuperNaturals are an amazing horn band that will take you on a classic rock n roll journey.
Expressive Path events are famous for their exciting auctions and raffle baskets! They're fun to participate in, and every contribution helps support our programs.
